Obama says he will not ignore Chinese human rights issues during Asian trip
Yes he will: US President Barack Obama says he will indeed talk to Chinese leaders about human rights during his visit to China as part of his upcoming Asian trip. Obama told Reuters he had raised human rights in previous meetings with Chinese officials and will do so during his upcoming visit. Critics have said he is neglecting China's rights record to curry favour with Beijing for support on other issues. Obama added that climate change and trade will also be high on his agenda in Shanghai and Beijing from 15 to 18 November.
