Tense Ugandans to register Somali nationals after threat

Uganda says it will register Somali nationals visiting the country after the radical al-Shabaab Islamist militant group threatened to attack the capital, Kampala. Al-Shabaab also said it would attack Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura, because troops from both countries make up the bulk of an African Union peacekeeping force in Somalia. As a measure of tensions between Somalis and Ugandans, Ugandan security services recently abducted the Somali defence minister during a private visit to Kampala. Read more: BBC
