Elections aftermath: Why did the ANC ignore its own research?

On the 16th of February this year, I conducted an interview with Ajay Gupta. I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to do so, only to be completely frustrated and angry that I was then not allowed to talk about it, or publish anything, until now. The reason was that a non-disclosure agreement was attached to the interview. However, Bell-Pottinger, the international PR company contracted by the Gupta family to manage its reputation, did not live up to the assurances provided. Ajay Gupta lied. But now, finally, because a portion of the interview has emerged on YouTube, I am in a position to disclose what happened.

Trump to revoke TPP

The president-elect was in full swing overnight. Donald Trump announced via a video feed that he would pull the US out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal on “day one”. Rare Pokémon card gets record bid

The ‘Pikachu Illustrator’ has sold for a whopping $54,970. Included in a sale in Beverley Hills, the card, one of 39, depicts a yellow Pikachu lightning rodent with drawing tools. There are only 10 such cards in the world known to be in mint condition.

British teens drink a bathtub of sugary drinks

The Cancer Research UK organisation has revealed that British teenagers consume a full bathtub of sugary drinks every year; 234 cans of sugar-sweetened soft drinks appeared to be the average. The organisation recommended that, like South Africa, a sugar tax be introduced to prevent the ridiculous amounts of sugar being consumed by teens.
