Shilowa threatens legal action against Lekota

The infighting at Cope continued on the weekend, with deputy president Mbhazima Shilowa threatening court action against leader Mosiuoa Lekota. This time, according to Shilowa, the charges relate to the fact that Lekota has stripped Shilowa of his position as Cope's chief whip. However, Cope spokesperson Phillip Dexter said he had not received any papers to this effect by Sunday evening. He also denied that Shilowa had been removed as chief whip.  Read more: News24
