BP: the leaking cap (put in place to fix the leaking oil well) is fixed

The leaking valve on the cap that is supposed to be an interim solution to stopping the oil gushing out of BP's well in the Gulf of Mexico has been fixed, the oil company said on Thursday. BP is now preparing to conduct tests on the efficacy of the cap to see if it will be safe for the company to shut off the well. Read more: New York Times
