Naspers buys 28.7% stake in Russian internet firm
Myriad International Holdings, a division of South African media company Naspers, is to buy a 28.7% stake in Russian internet firm Digital Sky Technologies. Naspers will pay $338 million for shares from existing investors, $50 for new shares, and give DST its 39.3% stake in Russian internet company Mail.ru. DST also owns ICQ, which is the leading internet messaging system in Russia and eastern Europe.
