John Howard won't be batting for the ICC
Former Australian prime minister John Howard, who had put in a bid to head the International Cricket Council, has seen his nomination shot down. African and Asian cricketing nations signed a letter against Howard's bid, citing his lack of experience in cricketing administration. The ICC said the nomination "did not have sufficient support within the ICC board".
