Wimbledon bans vuvuzelas

The All England Club, known for being a stickler for propriety (Wimbledon is the only tennis tournament where the players are still required to dress in white), has banned vuvuzelas from the tournament. Organisers were clearly not amused at the thought of the loud noisy instruments distracting players and fans.  Read more: The Telegraph
