Solar-powered soccer screening in Jerico

Soccer fans in Jerico (180km outside Joburg) will watch Bafana take on Uruguay tonight on a solar-powered television. The project is an initiative of Greenpeace. It's been a cold few days, but there's still been enough sunlight to provide the required energy.  Read more: Times Live
