Fitch slashes BP's rating by six notches

Fitch has downgraded BP's credit rating to BBB from AA, a massive six-notch drop. The company can probably look forward to also having its ratings cut by the other major agencies, over concerns that BP will have to stump up a lot more cash to make the oil spill go away.
